After my formal studies, I served as an Associate Instructor of Classical Guitar at Indiana University’s renowned Jacobs School of Music in Bloomington – a position that I held for numerous years. I enjoyed teaching various classes and one-on-one weekly studio lessons.

I taught four courses per semester, which included L100 through L103: Private Studio Guitar, Beginning Class Guitar, Intermediate Class Guitar and Advanced Class Guitar

Some of my most influential teachers include world-class guitarists such as Ernesto Bitetti (Argentina), Paul Galbraith (Scotland), Paulo Belinatti (Brazil) and Luiz Zea (Venezuela).  I have since blended their unique teaching styles into my own Zen approach.

Although I enjoyed teaching at the university level, I am very passionate about my own personal teaching method.  The Zen approach to guitar is a very personal and unique approach to mastering the guitar. I truly love teaching beginning through advanced students in a variety of styles.
